Meet Our New Team Member

We are excited to introduce our newest team member, Maisie! Maisie is joining our Partnership Manager Team and will be overseeing the North West. We thought you'd like to find out a bit more about her as she's pretty awesome...

Where are you from?

I'm from the Wirral!

What do you love to do in your spare time?

I love spending time with my friends and family. I love a coffee shop visit, and I am a big foodie so mostly enjoy cooking new recipes with my husband or we do love eating out at a new restaurant. If I can see my family, have good food and a nice coffee all in one day, then I'd be very happy!

Why did you choose to work for GP?

I have always been passionate for seeking justice and fairness. Having worked at a law firm in Liverpool for the last few years and seeing the increase in street homelessness, it has broken my heart, and I just know that homelessness should not have a place in our society. I wanted to work for GP to play a part in bringing about change and supporting those who really need it.

What is the craziest thing you’ve ever done

I have been white water rafting down the River Nile - it was amazing!

What's your favourite bible verse and why

My favourite bible verse is Jeremiah 29 v11: "For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future". I was given this verse by my grandparents at my baptism, and it has been a comfort to me my whole life. It's so amazing knowing that our lives and futures are in God's hand and it's been so reassuring to me in times of uncertainty.
