October is an amazing month where the nights draw in, the colours around us turn fiery and the weather gets cooler (and often even wetter). Summer has long gone, yet we've not quite entered the bustle of Christmas. It's a time where many people start to notice and feel compassion for those who have lost their home. This Homeless Awareness Month, we have 2 events you'll want to take part in.

Homeless Sunday - 8th October

Each year, churches stand together on this day to raise awareness, bring our call to love and justice before God in worship, praying for people impacted by homelessness and committing to work for justice for everyone.

Whether you have a small section or theme the whole day, we have some awesome resources for you to use that will help you create a memorable and impactful moment with your congregation.

World homeless Day - 10th October

If we want things to change, we need to pray. On World Homeless Day, 10th October 2023, we are hosting a day of prayer from 10am-10pm on zoom. We invite you to take an hour (or more if you want,) to come join us to pray and petition heaven on behalf of the homeless. We will be praying for the leaders and authorities, for the Church and all involved in helping the homeless in our nation. It will be a powerful time, where there will be a new Green Pastures host each hour on the hour, so book your time and come join us in raising some powerful prayers that's going to shake up our nation.
