“Four and Then More”

Meet Kath, one of the incredible team members at Green Pastures Derby.

Kath has a deep passion for helping people - especially those going through tough times or facing homelessness. She's been faithfully serving in a drop-in centre for over 20 years, showing love, compassion, and the hope of God to everyone who walks through the doors. She knows each person is special and helps to make them feel it.

God spoke to her clearly one day saying; "4 and then more." At the time, it didn’t make much sense. Kath has been part of the journey of Green Pastures Derby from the very beginning. When the property was first bought, it needed a lot of work and renovations. Kath rolled up her sleeves and worked hard. But when the hostel was first inspected, the authorities required certain work to be completed before all 28 spaces could be opened. They said you can start with 4 and once the work was done, more residents could come.

That moment gave Kath chills—God’s word had come to life!

She knew with full confidence that she was exactly where God wanted her to be.

What a testimony of faith, obedience, and purpose!
