6 ways to care for your mental health
Your mental health is essential to your overall health.
It's mental health week so here are a few ways you can better care for YOUR Mental Health ✨
1️. Spend time with people who love, encourage, and inspire you. People like your family and friends.
2️. Worship & meditate - stick on some worship music, and take a minute to breathe and be thankful! There's ALWAYS something to be thankful for.
" Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus" - 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18
3️. Exercise - slower paced and low impact sports, are great like : walks, pilates, swimming etc.
4️. Eat a balanced diet - yes that includes eating treats, as well as fruit and veg!
5️. Make sure you are getting enough rest - have moments of chill throughout your day and hey, go to bed a little earlier if needs be. Your body will thank you!
6. Journal & pray - write down everything hat's going on in your head, and give it over to God. It might even help getting someone to come alongside you in prayer and support.
